What You Will Do:
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Client Acquisition: Proactively contacting care homes, NHS Trusts, private medical facilities, and potential service users to introduce the agency's healthcare staffing or care services. []
Relationship Building: Following up on leads, generating new business inquiries, and converting cold prospects into active clients.
Booking Consultations: Pitching services over the telephone and arranging face-to-face meetings or site visits for the agency’s management or recruitment team.
Making outbound calls (cold calling) to introduce the agency's services to potential clients, healthcare professionals, and local organisations.
Following up enquiries, building relationships with prospective clients, and helping to arrange appointments if a potential client needs one.
Generating and qualifying new leads, identifying opportunities for business growth, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
Following up enquiries, arranging meetings or care assessments, and guiding prospective clients through the onboarding process.
Closing leads by converting enquiries into new clients and building long-term relationships that support the agency's growth.
Working towards agreed targets for lead generation, client acquisition, and business development activities.
Maintaining accurate records of calls, leads, and client information using the agency's CRM and administrative systems.

Supporting the coordination of care schedules and communicating with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Attending training sessions, completing apprenticeship coursework, and developing both healthcare and customer service skills.
Participating in team meetings and receiving ongoing support and mentoring from experienced colleagues.

Healthcare administration and record keeping
Safeguarding and confidentiality
Health and safety and infection prevention and control
Data protection and information governance
Professional behaviours and teamwork
Qualification gained:
Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
At the end of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will have gained a nationally recognised qualification, Practical workplace experience, and the skills required to progress into roles such as Business Development Executive, Healthcare Administrator, Client Relationship Coordinator, or Recruitment and Sales Consultant within the healthcare sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Willingness to learn and develop skills in a professional setting.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT skills.
Career progression
Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to secure a permanent position within the agency upon completion of their apprenticeship. Apprentices who demonstrate strong performance in lead generation, client acquisition, and customer relationship management may take on increased responsibilities, including managing key accounts, developing business partnerships, mentoring new team members, and contributing to the agency's growth strategy. Many of our apprentices continue to build long-term careers with us and progress into senior positions as the business expands.
