Hours: 40 hours per week (on a shift basis)
Contract Type: Apprenticeship, with the possibility of a full-time role upon completion

Position Overview
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while working towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
As an apprentice, you will support children's learning and development across all age rooms, assisting in daily care routines, activity preparation, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support children’s development through play-based learning, planned activities, and daily routines.
Assist in age-appropriate care routines including hygiene, nappy changing, toileting, and meal times.
Help set up and tidy learning environments, both indoors and outdoors.
Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Work collaboratively with room leaders and other staff to meet the individual needs of children.
Support in promoting emotional well-being and building secure relationships with children.
Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
Follow safeguarding procedures and health and safety policies to ensure the well-being of every child.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, staff, and families.
Participate actively in apprenticeship training and development activities.
Requirements
Must hold or be working toward a Level 2 Early Years qualification.
A strong interest in child development and early education.
Positive, flexible, and reliable attitude.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work across all age groups from babies to pre-schoolers.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Ability to work shifts within nursery opening hours.
Desirable
Experience in a nursery or childcare setting is beneficial but not essential.
Desire to progress to a full-time permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship.
What We Offer
