Hours: 40 hours per week (shift-based schedule)

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice to join our experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. The apprentice will play a vital role in supporting the learning and care of young children in both nursery and pre-prep school settings.
Key Responsibilities
Support children aged 0–5 in their daily routines and structured learning activities.
Assist in delivering a play-based and child-centred curriculum, in line with the EYFS framework.
Observe and monitor children's development, contributing to individual learning journeys and reports.
Assist with personal care routines, including hygiene, toileting, and meal times.
Help prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials.
Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment at all times.
Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures, ensuring children’s welfare is prioritised.
Contribute to classroom and nursery operations, including supporting behaviour management and daily transitions.
Engage positively with parents, staff, and children to build strong relationships and effective communication.
Take an active part in team meetings, training sessions, and developmental opportunities provided by the setting.
Requirements
Must be working towards or hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification (Level 3 training will be supported).
A genuine passion for working with young children in an educational setting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy nursery environment.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Flexibility to work shifts across the nursery’s opening hours.
Desirable
Previous experience in a childcare setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
A desire to progress into a full-time Early Years Educator role post-apprenticeship.
