Little Wings Big Dreams is a well-regarded private nursery offering care and early education to children aged 2–4 in a creative, child-led environment. The setting is known for its close-knit team, individualised approach, and strong focus on nurturing each child's unique personality and potential.
Based in Falconwood (DA16), the nursery operates with small group sizes, ensuring every child receives high levels of attention, encouragement, and developmental support.
Your Role as an Apprentice
As an apprentice, you’ll be based primarily in the preschool room, supporting children aged 2 to 4. You’ll be encouraged to take an active role in the day-to-day life of the setting while learning through real-world experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children’s learning and development through imaginative play, themed activities, and early education routines.
- Creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes language development, social skills, and independence.
- Assisting with daily routines, including snack times, toileting, outdoor play, and group time.
- Contributing to planning, observations, and learning journals under the guidance of senior staff.
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment in line with safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Building respectful relationships with both children and parents, supporting a home-from-home experience.
Training and Development
This apprenticeship is delivered by Professional Training Solutions and includes:
- A fully funded Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
- A blended learning programme with on-the-job training, online coursework, and dedicated tutor support.
- Functional Skills in Maths and English if not already achieved at Level 2.
- Regular reviews and mentoring to track your progress and support your growth.
