About the Setting
Situated near Highbury Fields, Little Angels is a private nursery and pre-prep school catering to children aged 0–5 years. The setting combines the structure of early education with the warmth of a family-oriented environment. With a focus on individual development, creativity, and emotional wellbeing, the nursery provides a safe and stimulating space where children can thrive.
Your Role as an Apprentice
As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you’ll play an important role in supporting children’s daily care, learning, and development. Working across both nursery and pre-prep rooms, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum through structured activities and play.
- Supporting children's daily routines, including meals, hygiene, rest, and transitions.
- Encouraging communication, confidence, and independence through interactive learning. - Helping to plan and prepare activities that meet the interests and developmental needs of individual children.
- Contributing to learning journals, observations, and developmental records.
- Promoting a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and key persons to support each child’s journey.
Your Training Journey
- Delivered by Professional Training Solutions, this apprenticeship will support your progression into a confident, capable Early Years Educator. You’ll receive:
- A fully funded Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
- A blended learning programme, combining in-person experience, online study, and regular tutor visits.
- Support from an experienced mentor within the nursery and a dedicated training advisor.
- If you do not already hold English and Maths at Level 2, Functional Skills support will be provided.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in working with young children in an educational and caring capacity.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to learning and teamwork.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to follow routines and guidance.
- A Level 2 childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to completing the full duration of the apprenticeship.
