About the Role:
Professional Training Solutions is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join Children’s Corner Day Nursery in West Ealing as an Early Years Educator Apprentice.
This is an excellent chance to build a rewarding career in early years education while working toward a nationally recognised Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. You’ll gain valuable experience in a nurturing, inclusive setting that supports the emotional wellbeing and development of children from birth to five years old.
About Children’s Corner Day Nursery:
Children’s Corner is a family-run nursery located in a diverse and vibrant part of West Ealing. The nursery provides a warm, inclusive environment for children aged 0–5 and is committed to promoting creativity, emotional wellbeing, and inclusive learning. Its team values strong relationships with children and families and takes pride in creating a welcoming, supportive space.
Key Responsibilities:
- As an apprentice at Children’s Corner, you will:
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate play and structured activities.
- Assist with daily routines, including hygiene, mealtimes, and rest periods.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment across age-specific rooms (babies, toddlers, and preschool).
- Support the setup and delivery of creative activities, indoor and outdoor play, and learning opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with children, staff, and families, promoting positive interactions.
- Carry out observations and contribute to the planning of next steps in children’s learning.
- Follow nursery policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusion.
Training and Qualification Details:
- You will work toward a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, delivered by Professional Training Solutions.
- Training includes blended learning (on-site training, online coursework, and dedicated study time) supported by experienced tutors and mentors.
- If you do not already hold Level 2 English and Maths, you may be required to complete Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements:
- A Level 2 qualification in childcare is preferred but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a childcare environment.
