About the Role:
- Professional Training Solutions is proud to be partnering with Alphablocks Nursery, an exceptional early years setting that has achieved two consecutive 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings, to offer a rewarding Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development to gain practical, hands-on experience while studying towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. You'll join a warm, supportive team dedicated to creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment where every child is empowered to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will:
- Support children’s development through play-based learning tailored to individual interests and needs.
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and development.
- Provide personal care, ensuring children's health, hygiene, and wellbeing.
- Carry out observations, assessments, and planning to track children’s progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Help to maintain positive and professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the day-to-day running of the nursery, including setting up learning activities and maintaining cleanliness.
- Work collaboratively with experienced early years professionals who will mentor and support your development.

Training and Qualification Details:
- You will work towards achieving the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification through Professional Training Solutions.
- Your training will include a combination of on-the-job learning and dedicated study time, guided by experienced tutors and workplace mentors.
- Apprentices without a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths may be required to undertake Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements:
- A Level 2 qualification in childcare is desirable but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to commit to the full duration of the apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship offers excellent potential for long-term career development. A full-time role may be available upon successful completion of the programme, and you’ll be well-prepared to take on more senior positions in early years education.
