Your Role as an Apprentice

As a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development while learning from experienced early years professionals.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Assisting in the delivery of a play-based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development

• Engaging in creative activities such as storytelling, singing, messy play, and outdoor exploration

• Helping children with daily care routines, including toileting, feeding, and dressing

• Setting up and tidying resources and learning environments

• Contributing to observations, assessments, and planning alongside your supervisor

• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive space where all children feel valued

• Communicating with team members and parents/carers in a respectful, professional manner

Your Training & Support

Your apprenticeship will be delivered by Professional Training Solutions, offering:

• A fully funded Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

• A structured, flexible training programme with a combination of in-person learning, online study, and workplace support

• Functional Skills in English and Maths if not previously achieved

• Ongoing guidance from a dedicated tutor and on-site mentor

• Regular progress reviews to help you stay on track

What We're Looking For

• Has a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn

• Is able to adapt to the needs of different children in a dynamic setting

• Holds a Level 2 qualification in childcare (desirable but not required)

• Is committed to completing the apprenticeship and becoming a qualified early years professional
